Gonda: Gonda: Auditions and a general knowledge examination for various competitions under the 7th Awadh Mahotsav 2026 – “Change for Gonda” were organised at Uddeshya Classes in Gonda. Participants took part enthusiastically and showcased their talent and knowledge.
Auditions were conducted for participants in dance, singing, poetry, art and other competitions, while a written examination was held for the general knowledge competition. A large number of participants took part in the selection process with enthusiasm.
The event was organised under the coordination of Awadh Mahotsav convenor Avinash Singh and the direction of Shubham Shukla. Members of the audition team, including Dilip Jaiswal, Tanisha Pandey, Vaishnavi Singh, Ayush Mishra, Chandra Prakash and Abhishek Mishra, played key roles in conducting the proceedings. Awadh Mahotsav will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Arihant Continental Resort, opposite Kuber Talkies, Gonda. The inauguration and cultural festival will begin at 2 pm, while the Talent Felicitation Ceremony will commence at 5 pm.
Selected participants from the auditions and general knowledge examination will get an opportunity to showcase their talents during the main event. Outstanding performers will also be honoured as part of the talent felicitation ceremony. The Awadh Mahotsav aims to provide a prominent platform to emerging talents from Gonda and surrounding areas, promote art and culture, and encourage young people to develop and showcase their abilities. The organising committee has appealed to the public to attend the programme in large numbers and encourage the participating talents.
